Olympic Athletes use EMS Workouts

Train like an Olympic Athlete with EMS Workouts

Inspired by the Paris Olympics 2024

The Paris Olympics are here, and the world is captivated by extraordinary feats of human athleticism. I’m most interested in basketball as team USA has a great roster with recognizable names (LeBron James, Steph Curry, Kevin Durant), but barely squeezed by during the friendlies. Other events I’m interested in include female track & field with sprinter phenom Sha’Carri and gymnastics with Simone Biles.

Some Olympians have incorporated EMS workouts into their fitness training. Most notably Usain Bolt. The reasons why they do may vary from athlete to athlete. For example, it’s been reported that Usain Bolt kept getting injured lifting heavy weights so he started doing EMS workouts to strengthen his core and avoid putting pressure on his joints.

EMS workouts are a cutting-edge method that has taken the fitness world by storm. It involves wearing a suit equipped with electrodes that deliver electrical impulses to your muscles, causing them to rapidly contract and relax. This intense stimulation is equivalent to performing hours of resistance training in a fraction of the time, making it a highly efficient workout.

While professional athletes have been incorporating EMS workouts into their training regimens for years, it’s now becoming increasingly accessible to the general public.

Let’s explore the reason why Olympic athletes, and yourself should incorporate EMS workouts into your routine:

  • Injury: If you have an injury, there is nothing else out there that can continue to train you with the necessary intensity but without aggravating your injury. Just like Usain, you will get stronger without getting injured as you recover.
  • Time: For athletes, most of their training is dedicated to practicing the sport itself (technique, form, strategy) so spending a lot of time in the weight room is not ideal. In your case, you may prefer to get things done, meet friends, and have fun with your children rather than spending hours at a gym.
  • Stress on joints: In general, stress on the joints is not advisable. There are many joint-friendly fitness options out there but none of them offer the same combination of intensity and short duration like an EMS workout.

The results are astonishing: increased strength, improved endurance, enhanced flexibility, and improved body composition.

So, while we may not all be destined for Olympic glory, we can certainly embody the Olympic spirit through dedication, hard work, and the pursuit of excellence. EMS fitness is the perfect tool to help you unlock your inner athlete and achieve extraordinary results.

As the Paris Olympics inspire us with breathtaking performances, let’s remember that the true champions are those who overcome their own personal challenges and strive for continuous improvement. It’s all about progress.
