The Bodybuzz Method
There’s a method to the madness–with EMS. The proprietary fitness methodology we’ve developed at Bodybuzz is based on tried-and-true strength and conditioning principles, research studies on EMS fitness, and a sprinkling of balance training, corrective, and pelvic floor exercises—along with a dose of fun!
Let’s dive into the 3 styles of training you can expect from Bodybuzz.
1. Buzz Strength: Combining Strength training principles with EMS
Goal: muscle peak contraction with good form and controlled movement. Fewer exercises with an emphasis on proper technique and mindful execution of each exercise.
Outcome: develop a strong foundation, enhance muscular strength, and sculpt your physique with intention through deliberate, tempo-based lifts and slower movements.
2. Buzz Metcon: Crossfit’s EMS little sibling
Goal: Blending dynamic strength and movement to rev up your metabolism. The stimulation is continuous to allow for more fluid movement without pauses. Strength remains the basis but it is now intertwined with more rigorous movement to elicit a higher calorie burn.
Outcome: a balance between dynamic strength with an elevated heart rate throughout the workout.
3. Buzz Torch: Longer, harder, hotter
Goal: our version of a HIIT workout, while using strength exercises with alterations to lean more into the calorie expenditure rather than complete muscle failure.
Outcome: higher calorie burn, higher heart rate, and muscle endurance.
The big question – What workout should I do?
All of them! As humans we all need muscle strength, muscle endurance, and cardiovascular endurance.
