2. Stay active: Keeping their minds and bodies active can help them stay independent and engaged in life. Spending time with friends and family, going for walks, or joining a club or class, such as playing Petanque in the park with others can contribute to keeping their minds and bodies engaged.

3. Stay safe: Make sure their home is safe and free of hazards. Remove any loose rugs, keep electrical cords out of the way, and install grab bars in the bathroom. Choosing activities that are low-impact and joint-friendly is highly recommended to keep their bodies safe.
